What this website collects.
Only what you type into the form. That means your name, what you do, your phone number, your email address, whatever you write in the message box, and whether you checked the box that lets us text you. Nothing is collected from you unless you fill that in and send it.
What we do with it
We use it to reply to you about your message. That’s the whole purpose. We don’t sell it, we don’t rent it, and we don’t pass it to anybody else to market to you.
Texting
The form has a checkbox asking whether we can text the number you give us. It starts unchecked, the form works either way, and checking it is the only thing that makes your number one we’ll text. We use it to reply to you and to arrange a time to talk, never to market at you.
Reply STOP to any message and it stops. What we send, and how to stop it, is written out in full in our SMS terms.
Keeping bots off the form
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which works out whether a submission is coming from a person or from a script. It runs invisibly. There’s no puzzle to solve and no box to check, and you won’t see it happen. To make that call it looks at your browser and your connection, and what Cloudflare collects in the process is set out in their Turnstile Privacy Addendum. It’s there to tell people apart from bots. It isn’t advertising, it doesn’t follow you around, and it isn’t used to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept while there’s a reason to keep them, an active conversation, or a working relationship. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and you don’t have to give a reason.
Cookies
This website sets the cookies WordPress needs to function. If you’re not signing in to anything, that’s essentially nothing of interest.
If we add anything
Analytics, advertising tags and chat tools all collect more than a contact form does. If any of those are added to this site, this page gets updated at the same time. A privacy notice that describes a website which no longer exists is worse than none, because it reads as a statement of fact and isn’t one.
